Uranium Standard Resources is a uranium resource acquisition and development company.

The world’s energy portfolio is changing in response to environmental concerns and the need for power the world’s growing economies. While Uranium is not the only answer to the world’s energy needs, it is a key part of the solution. Many economists and environmentalists understand that in certain locations and situations throughout the world, nuclear power is an important piece of a safe and environmentally sound energy production portfolio. Over 200 nuclear reactors are being built around the world, and with the price of uranium trading near multi-year lows, substantially all global uranium production is uneconomic. But as uranium inventories decline and as new reactors begin needing uranium, the price of uranium is forecast to increase substantially in the coming years. Uranium Standard is using this situation to buy high-quality uranium projects in safe and investor-friendly jurisdictions at a fraction of the price at which they were valued just a few years ago. As global uranium inventories decline, and demand for nuclear power increases, the value of our projects are expected to increase substantially.
